Trehalose is a naturally occurring sugar found in plants & mushrooms. Our gelato is sweetened naturally with trehalose, made fresh daily, & served in house-made GF waffle cones. We created this for our families and kids, to offer a dessert we feel good about sharing.
In the early days of Pura Vida Miami, founders Jen & Omer would sneak away from long hours to indulge in what they believed was the best gelato in Miami—crafted by their friend Antonio, an artisan from Italy who spent years perfecting his craft. His dedication to texture, flavor, & quality was a quiet inspiration.
Now, with guidance from our VP of Culinary, John Suarez, & rooted in Antonio’s timeless techniques, we’ve created a gelato that honors tradition & reflects the wellness values we live by.
